No Respect, no self respect
All right, I admit it. I used to think highly of Sen. McCain and was looking forward to his Presidential run at one point. No Longer!!During the last election, and in the last few months the McCain I thought I knew has disappeared, if he ever really existed. Is it desperation, or is this the real McCain?
In his actions, he has sought to subvert the Presidents role and programs, he has pandered to the leftist agenda, he has betrayed the needs of his own state even as it and the other border regions are besieged with illegal immigrants (stress the word "illegal").
He appears to have given up ever priniciple or moral fiber he never had in what appears to be a transparent attempt to be 'electable' by some idiot pollster's definition. Instead it makes him look weak and vascillating, blowing in whatever direction the trend winds blow. I wouldn't vote him for dog catcher now, having a high level of respect for dogs.
Where is the man who survived Vietnam? Is this what he always was?
